St Patrick's Day Parade Mass
The Irish Memorial Mass will take place on March 3 at 10am. We would like to offer up prayers to any members of the Military that have previously served or are currently serving our country. We are also looking for names of any members that have passed away in the past year so their names can be mentioned as well. Please contact Mary O’Connell or Peg Sullivan with this information or any other questions.
Salute to the Irish
The Essex County Board of Chosen Freeholders will hold their annual “Salute to the Irish” Celebration on March 8 at 4:30pm in the Hall of Records. All members are welcome to attend as the Nutley Parade Dignitaries will be presented with Proclamations from the County.

Member Mauro Tucci has been sworn in as the Mayor of the Township of Nutley.
Member Peg Sullivan has been named one of the honorees along with Ed Saegers of the Belleville Irish Dinner Dance.

Nutley Relay for Life
The Nutley Relay for Life will be May 18th at 5pm. The Nutley Irish has agreed to be a flagship team, which means that we are aiming high and setting our team goal for $10,000!! This year’s theme will be Relay Around The World. The team is now open on the Relay for Life page and accepting members! If you would like to sign up to be on the team or make a donation on behalf of the team, please visit:

Catherine's Closet Prom Dress Drive
This year, the Nutley Irish will be having a Prom Dress Drive benefiting Catherine’s Closet Inc. Catherine’s Closet is a non-profit organization in Newark that collects donated gowns and dressy dresses as well as formal jewelry and handbags for both girls going to the prom and adults in need. These dresses and accessories are sold and the money raised goes towards scholarships for the students who volunteer within the organization. The Nutley Irish will be collecting dresses and accessories starting now, and will continue throughout the parade season. For more information on the organization, please visit their website:www.catherinescloset.org. If you know anyone who would like to donate a lightly worn bridesmaid or prom dress, dressy dress, or accessories that they would like someone else to enjoy, please contact dresses@nutleyirish.com or call Deidre Hollywood 973-418-2908. Local Pickup will be available.
